Let Your City Do the Healing.

Relaxing my mind at my favorite spot, the jetties.
Everyone has their own problems. And we all deal with problems differently. Sometimes you can feel so overwhelmed and alone and have nowhere to turn to.
I’m one of those people who will get super stressed especially when everything is going wrong all at once. I don’t like turning to other people to console my problems. My problems are my problems and I usually keep them to myself.
When your mind is all disheveled, take a deep breath and slow down. Focus on the things you do have and what you should be grateful for.
One thing I’m thankful for is the city that I live in. There are so many places where you can go by yourself and relax your mind. Whether it be by a canal, ocean, or by a window listening to the sound of the rain.
When you are feeling that sense of “too much,” look for a pretty spot around South Florida to visit. And take that time to reconnect with yourself.
There were plenty of times where I sat at the jetties or decided to cruise down US 27. There are places everywhere. Even if I have to, I walk around my neighborhood.
There is so much to see and exploring this life around you makes your problems seem little and insignificant.
I'm not saying this will solve your problems but it can put your life in a healthier perspective. And the best part is that this environment outside is free and waiting there for you, any time you need it.
